IT Application Support Analyst – Northwich, England
Salary: £35K – £51K ( Est.)
Role Overview
Reporting to the IT Production Support Manager, this role involves working closely with Fund Managers, Investment Support, Risk & Performance, Operations, Finance, Compliance and other business users to resolve production issues across internal and third-party systems. You will support and configure Iress/XPLAN applications, collaborate with third-party vendors, and work with internal development teams on system defects.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage, investigate and resolve issues across in-house and third-party applications
- Support system integrations, data feeds and data flows
- Monitor system performance and take proactive corrective action
- Manage application configurations, deployments and resource allocations
- Assist with new features, updates and patches across cloud and on-prem systems
- Liaise with third-party suppliers to ensure timely issue resolution
- Maintain compliance with FCA guidelines and internal regulatory requirements

Desirable Skills
- 5+ years in a Windows/SQL Server environment
- Experience with XPLAN or MS Dynamics configuration
- Cloud environment experience, including APIs and integrations
- Financial services background with at least 5 years in live support
- ITIL certification
- Familiarity with: Windows Server, SQL Server, Oracle, Azure, MS Dynamics, Snowflake, APIs, Power BI, Excel/VBA
