Your Role
As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing emotional and practical support to clients and their families.
- Helping clients live independently by identifying and supporting their needs.
Key Duties:
- Assess client needs and develop support plans.
- Assist with personal care, medication, and light housekeeping.
- Provide emotional support and budgeting assistance.
- Support clients in leisure and community activities.
- Accompany clients to meetings and appointments.
- Collaborate with families and health professionals.
- Attend training and staff meetings.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- A caring, supportive, and professional attitude.
- Strong communication, patience, and discretion.
- Mediation, negotiation, and emergency response skills.
- SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to achieve it).
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
