The University of Bath is seeking a Programmes Officer to join the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences. This role provides operational and management support for a range of exciting undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
You will collaborate with Programme Managers and Officers to ensure the effective delivery of academic courses and help shape the student experience. In a job-share setup, you will co-lead a small administrative team and directly contribute to continuous process improvement and programme quality enhancement.
This is a part-time role (18.25 hours/week) with a requirement to work on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Remaining hours are flexible.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage delivery of academic programmes
- Lead a small team of admin staff (job-shared leadership)
- Enhance student experience and operational efficiency
- Develop and improve programme-related processes
Requirement
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with digital systems and tools
- Administrative experience (preferably in a higher education setting)
- Adaptability, problem-solving mindset, and team focus
