Salary: £14,722 per annum, pro rata

Overview
Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) is seeking ICT Technical Apprentices to join our ICT Service Team. As part of this programme, you will:
- Work in a dynamic, challenging environment with support from experienced staff.
- Complete a Level 3 ICT Information Telecommunications Apprenticeship.
- Gain skills and experience for future permanent roles or higher-level apprenticeships.
- Receive a comprehensive induction and ongoing training.
You will need:
- Enthusiasm, commitment, and good communication skills
- Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy as a minimum
Please note: Candidates with equivalent qualifications will not be shortlisted.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, support, and maintain IT systems and services.
- Work collaboratively with technical specialists to implement innovative solutions.
- Follow guidance on confidentiality and data quality.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and service users.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Problem-solving skills and initiative
- Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
- GCSE Maths/English C or above
- Experience dealing with people face-to-face and over the phone
- Lived experience of mental health and wellbeing
