About the Role:
Almond Care Providers Ltd is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to deliver high-quality care in our supported living homes. You will assist individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health needs, helping them live more independent and fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised care: bathing, dressing, mobility, and daily activities
- Support individuals through companionship and behaviour management
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records
- Assist with food shopping and meal preparation
- Offer emotional support and promote well-being
- Participate in housekeeping to maintain a safe environment
- Support individuals to appointments and outings
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to follow care plans
Qualifications:
- Experience in a care environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health care
- First aid certification is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach
- Basic understanding of medication administration and behaviour management
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
