Overview
We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our multidisciplinary team and support the delivery of high-quality, compassionate primary care. This role offers a clear career development pathway, including progression to Trainee Nurse Associate or Registered Nurse Associate through supported training programmes.
You will work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the smooth running of clinics, chronic disease management, and vaccination programmes.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform health checks, observations, and basic clinical procedures (BP, pulse, height, weight, ECGs)
- Support vaccination and phlebotomy clinics (training available)
- Assist with long-term condition management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension)
- Provide health promotion and lifestyle guidance
- Maintain accurate clinical records (EMIS)
- Contribute to exceptional patient experience and practice operations
