Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst / Editor with strong knowledge of Structured Products and a passion for data accuracy and process efficiency. In this role, you will maintain structured financial products within our internal XML-based data model via a dedicated GUI. Your work ensures that data feeds are consistent, complete, and compliant—supporting quantitative calculations and regulatory documents (PRIIP KIDs) for clients, including trading desks across Europe. You will also serve as a key liaison between our client (a leading Swiss bank) and internal teams, ensuring clear communication, data integrity, and timely delivery.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Capture and configure new structured products using the internal GUI.
- Ensure data completeness and accuracy for both new and existing products throughout their lifecycle.
- Understand and validate XML data structures; basic XML skills are an advantage.
- Manage incoming requests via the ticketing system and occasional phone calls, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Maintain manual product flows, including lifecycle updates, website entries, and document uploads.
- Collaborate with data, product, quant, and technology teams to ensure consistent product information and smooth downstream processing.
- Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and support process optimization efforts.
- Contribute expertise to WSD-wide initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Structured Products (EMEA experience is a plus).
- Basic familiarity with XML structures and logical data models.
- Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Strong communication skills, ideally with experience in client-facing or ticket-based environments.
- Reliable, self-organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proactive mindset with interest in financial data operations and product lifecycle management.
