Overview
The Business Support Officer will provide operational, administrative and analytical support to enhance organisational efficiency and workflow performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Review business departments and specific problem areas, assessing how they interact within wider organisational activities.
- Examine work methods and operational procedures, measure day-to-day activities and support the calculation of standard task times.
- Prepare structured reports with recommendations aimed at improving efficiency and reducing operational costs.
- Support purchasing activities, process incoming client payments and assist with contract documentation and arrangements.
- Draft internal communications, written materials, notices and supporting documents to promote processes and policies.
- Maintain organised business records, documentation systems, logs and compliance files.
- Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and assisting management.
- Conduct basic research, collect data and support projects designed to improve workflows and organisational performance.
- Ensure all activities comply with internal procedures, confidentiality requirements and GDPR standards.
- Undertake additional administrative duties that contribute to smooth business operations.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in business administration, office support or operations.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing workflows, work methods and departmental processes.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general business software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy and professionalism.
- English Level: IELTS 6.0 (CEFR B2) or equivalent.
- Minimum educational requirement: Graduate-level qualification.
- Reliable, confidential and proactive in supporting business needs.
