Salary: £23,946 • Hours: 37.5 per week • Contract: Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)
Location: Hunters Moor Neurological Rehabilitation Centre, Birmingham

Overview
Active Care Group, one of the UK’s largest independent neuro and mental healthcare providers, is seeking an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to support the management and multi-disciplinary team at Hunters Moor. The service accommodates 42 residents requiring specialist neurorehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the unit manager and clinical team
  • Order and maintain stationery and office supplies
  • Coordinate external professional visits
  • Maintain accurate training records in line with GDPR
  • Produce timely reports and documentation
  • Manage purchase orders, petty cash, credit card logs, and resident funds
  • Assist with reception cover when required
  • Handle banking tasks including deposits, withdrawals, and cheque processing

What You’ll Need

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Healthcare experience (advantage but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Enhanced DBS (required)
