Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Power BI Developer to join our data and analytics team. This role is open to candidates with 0–10 years of experience, from entry-level to senior professionals.
You will help transform data into actionable insights by designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
  • Gather and analyze business requirements for tailored BI solutions
  • Model and optimize datasets using Power Query, DAX, and data modeling best practices
  • Maintain and improve existing Power BI solutions
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and stakeholders
  • Ensure dashboards meet business goals and data governance standards
  • Troubleshoot data issues, performance bottlenecks, and inconsistencies
  • Support BI adoption and contribute to overall analytics maturity

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (Reports, Dashboards, DAX, Power Query)
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries and working with large datasets
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid grasp of data visualization best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Experience with Azure (SQL, Synapse, Data Factory)
  • Knowledge of ETL or data integration tools
  • Exposure to Python, R, or similar analytics languages
  • Familiarity with Power BI administration and workspace management
  • Understanding of Agile methodology
  • Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, Looker)
  • Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
