Salary: £34,500 – £44,850
Location: Cambridge (Hybrid, min. 2 days/week in office)

Overview

Cambridge University Press & Assessment is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst to support impact evaluation activities across programmes and products within the Propositions Group. The role involves shaping how the organisation evidences and reports educational impact, contributing to improvements in English language learning worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support evaluation studies for product development and education reform.
  • Design data collection tools for quantitative, qualitative, and observational research.
  • Analyse and interpret data using appropriate statistical methods.
  • Coordinate logistics and engagement with stakeholders.
  • Produce clear, evidence-based reports, blogs, and presentations.
  • Support monitoring frameworks and impact indicators.
  • Maintain evaluation data systems, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Develop data visualisations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to standardised reporting and documentation.

About You

  • Master’s degree in quantitative, social science, or education-related field (exceptional BA/BSc considered).
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.
  • Experience designing data collection tools and conducting analysis.
  • Proficient in tools such as Excel, SPSS, R, NVivo, Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings clearly.
  • Highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented.
  • Experience working with socio-demographic or education datasets is desirable.
