Overview
Are you an experienced Social Worker? Gloucestershire County Council is seeking a dedicated professional to join the Cotswolds Locality Team in Cirencester.
If you are a qualified Social Worker already in the UK, registered with Social Work England (SWE), and looking to transfer your Certificate of Sponsorship, this could be the perfect opportunity.
You may also be eligible for a relocation allowance of up to £8,000 (subject to conditions).

You will support adults across the county to live safe, independent, and fulfilling lives. The role focuses on strengths-based practice, creative use of resources, and providing high-quality social care interventions.

About You
To apply, you must have:
- A Social Work qualification
- Social Work England registration
- Completion of ASYE (or equivalent), or 2+ years post-qualifying statutory experience
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- A valid driving licence (reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act may apply)
