Overview
The IT Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT and software development projects. This role blends strong project management skills with hands-on technical capability, cloud expertise, and experience managing budgets, risks, and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is both a strategic planner and a technical contributor.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.
- Lead project kickoffs, sprint planning, and communication cadence.
- Support hands-on technical tasks including development, deployment, and environment setup.
Technical & Cloud Management
- Collaborate on solution design, troubleshooting, and deployments.
- Contribute to cloud-related activities (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Participate in architecture discussions and environment configuration.
- Support DevOps workflows and feasibility assessments.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate developers, QA teams, infrastructure, vendors, and analysts.
- Serve as the communication link between technical teams and stakeholders.
- Lead status meetings, workshops, and presentations.
- Foster collaboration and high team performance.
Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Identify and document project risks with mitigation strategies.
- Escalate and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation.
Budgeting & Resource Management
- Manage project budgets and forecasts.
- Track project costs and vendor expenses.
- Ensure efficient allocation of people, tools, and infrastructure.
Quality Assurance & Delivery
- Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and best practices.
- Lead UAT coordination and defect management.
- Conduct project evaluations and post-implementation reviews.
- Ensure compliance with security, performance, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of SDLC and IT infrastructure.
- Hands-on troubleshooting and deployment experience.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Experience with Jira, Trello, Asana, MS Project, Monday.com, etc.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), SQL, networking, and cybersecurity basics.

- Agile/Scrum experience (Scrum Master/Product Owner is a plus).
- Budgeting and resource planning experience.
- UAT/QA or release management experience is an advantage.
Education
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration (IT focus), or related field.
