Overview
Boots is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join their pharmacy team. No prior experience is required—full training will be provided while you complete the Pharmacy Advisor (NVQ2) programme. You will support pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services.
You will interact with patients daily, provide guidance, help dispense prescriptions, and support the pharmacy team to deliver excellent healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 training programme
- Dispense prescriptions and ensure safe supply of medicines
- Order, label, endorse and prepare prescriptions
- Assist pharmacists and healthcare professionals in delivering pharmacy services
- Provide patients with advice on medicines and health concerns
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Help patients manage their prescriptions effectively
- Support digital systems and new dispensing technologies
- Stay updated with healthcare and store innovations
What You’ll Need
- Desire to learn and complete the NVQ2 Dispenser training
- Valid UK right to work
