Summary
Holdcode Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient IT Quality Tester to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of software products. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with testing tools, and an understanding of software development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute detailed test cases, scripts, and plans.
- Conduct functional, system, regression, load, performance, and UAT testing.
- Use automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, Jenkins.
- Perform root cause analysis and support defect resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to translate requirements into test scenarios.
- Integrate testing with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, TFS).
- Validate REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
- Participate in release management to ensure quality standards.
- Log defects using Jira or HP ALM.
- Support troubleshooting across Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, AWS, and Azure.
Experience & Skills
- Experience in manual and automated quality assurance testing.
- Proficient with automation frameworks: Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, JUnit.
- Familiar with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab.
- Scripting skills in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with SDLC models: Waterfall, Agile/Scrum.
- Strong understanding of APIs, SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle) and troubleshooting.
- Performance testing experience (e.g., LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of version control (Git, SVN).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
