Overview

The University of Bath is seeking a Programmes Administrator to join the Taught Programmes team within the Faculty of Science. The Faculty supports over 4,000 students across the departments of Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Computer Science and Mathematics. The team provides essential administrative support to both students and academic staff, ensuring smooth programme delivery throughout the academic year.

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Proactive, organised, and self-motivated
  • Skilled in digital tools and effective communication
  • Able to work under pressure during busy academic cycles
  • Comfortable managing diverse administrative tasks and deadlines

Experience with university systems such as Moodle, SAMIS/SITS, and Business Objects is desirable but not essential.

Work Pattern

  • Hybrid: Minimum 3 days on campus (9am–5pm)
  • Full-time: 36.5 hours per week
  • Permanent position
