Location: London (Jamestown) – Hybrid
Contract: Permanent | Full-time
Salary: £39,000 (Estimated)
Overview
We’re looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain insightful Power BI reports and datasets. You’ll work with multiple data sources to help stakeholders make informed, data-driven decisions across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Report Development & Maintenance
- Build and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards
- Ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment with finance and business needs
Data Integration & Platforms
- Integrate data from multiple sources
- Support Datamarts and Lakehouses to ensure reliable access to data
Collaboration
- Work closely with finance teams and key stakeholders
- Partner with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and efficiency
Performance & Documentation
- Optimise report performance and data retrieval
- Maintain clear documentation for reports, data models, and processes
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience developing Power BI reports and datasets
- Solid knowledge of DAX and Power Query
- Data modelling expertise
- Understanding of data visualisation best practices
- Experience working in Agile teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for data
Desirable Skills
- Experience in a large retail organisation
- Working with multiple data sources
- Knowledge of SQL and database technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Word)
