Overview
SWFT Clinical Services Ltd is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Domestic Assistant to join the Facilities team at Ellen Badger Hospital. This is a part-time role working 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday, either early mornings or early evenings outside of clinical activity.
You will play an important role in enhancing patient experience by helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming hospital environment.
No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
Main Duties
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across patient and non-patient areas
- Follow health, safety, infection control, and Trust policies at all times
- Safely collect and dispose of clinical and non-clinical waste
- Use cleaning equipment correctly and safely
- Maintain confidentiality, privacy, and dignity for patients and staff
- Assist with meal and beverage services when required
- Secure areas after cleaning and ensure key security
- Work independently and as part of a wider facilities team
