Overview
Kessington Medical Centre in Bearsden is looking for a friendly, organised, and approachable individual to join its supportive healthcare team as a Digital Patient Services Apprentice.
You will be the first point of contact for patients, delivering a professional and welcoming service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for patients and healthcare professionals (in person, phone, and email)
- Book and manage appointments using the EMIS system
- Support patients by signposting them to appropriate services
- Maintain accurate patient records and update registrations
- Process prescriptions, correspondence, and documentation
- Use DOCMAN for workflow and internal collaboration
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Respond to information requests including SARs and official forms

Working Pattern
- 2 days: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- 1 day: 9:00am – 2:00pm
