The Opportunity
The Data Analyst II leads strategic Enterprise Data Warehouse projects and data quality remediation planning. This role partners closely with business and operations teams, mentors junior analysts, and reviews analytical work to ensure quality and accuracy.
Day in the Life
- Drive strategic Enterprise Data Warehouse projects
- Advise on industry standards and data-driven technologies
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and relationships
- Create end-to-end data flow diagrams and logical data models
- Develop basic to intermediate SQL scripts for reporting and ad-hoc analysis
- Document data requirements and source-to-target mappings
- Collaborate with technology teams on design, development, testing, and deployment
- Document system-of-record data models and business process mappings
- Design data mapping specifications and data feed documentation
- Develop and document data remediation plans
- Work within Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
- Identify, manage, and report risks, including information security risks
- Mentor less tenured data analysts
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Data Management, CIS, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- 2+ years of experience with data technologies, processes, and data mapping tools
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills
- Familiarity with Databricks
- Basic knowledge of Snowflake (preferred)
- Knowledge of data warehousing methodologies and data modeling
- Financial services industry knowledge
Pay Range
$67,700 – $86,300 per year
Actual pay is based on experience and job-related factors permitted by law.
