Overview
NHS England funds the Internal Medicine Strategic Network (IMSN) and the Neurosciences and Trauma Strategic Network. These networks are building skilled multidisciplinary teams to lead transformation across specialised healthcare services.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute at a formative stage and help shape how Strategic Networks operate and deliver impact across Internal Medicine, Neurosciences, and Trauma specialties.
Responsibilities
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will:
- Lead the development of data flows, analysis, and reporting
- Support planning, performance monitoring, and service improvement
- Deliver insights across specialised care pathways
- Work collaboratively across Internal Medicine, Neurosciences, and Trauma networks
- Engage with clinical, operational, and senior stakeholders

Person Specification
Qualifications – Essential
- Relevant Master’s degree or equivalent experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
- Evidence of continuous professional development
Qualifications – Desirable
- Professional qualification in data management or business intelligence
- Facilitation training
Experience – Essential
- Significant experience in data analysis and quality monitoring within a healthcare setting
- Proven experience leading service improvement and redesign projects
- Experience engaging with clinical and senior stakeholders
- Experience managing or contributing to budgets and resource efficiency
Experience – Desirable
- Experience delivering new models of care
- Experience working across multiple organisations
- Experience coaching or mentoring staff
