Description
Farmfoods is looking to recruit a friendly and reliable Retail Assistant to join our shop in Thornliebank, East Renfrewshire. This is a permanent part-time role, ideal for students or individuals seeking flexible work.
You will be required to work early morning shifts, including weekends. Please apply only if you are available for early starts.
Pay and Benefits
Your hourly pay depends on your age:
- Ages 16–20: £10.10 per hour
- Ages 21+: £12.31 per hour

Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Assistant, you will:
- Welcome customers with a friendly and helpful approach
- Assist customers in finding products
- Provide fast and friendly service at the tills
- Handle stock deliveries and restock shelves and freezers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy shop environment
- Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines
Requirements
You will need:
- A friendly, positive, and hardworking attitude
- Ability to stay active and multitask in a busy environment
- Reliability and strong teamwork skills
- Flexibility to cover different shifts when required
Rotas are planned three weeks in advance, and personal commitments are always considered when scheduling shifts.
