Overview

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Application Support Analyst (Band 4) to join its Diagnostics and Pharmacy Application Delivery Support Team.

The successful candidate will provide support for diagnostic and pharmacy clinical systems, responding to user calls and support tickets while ensuring systems remain effective and reliable for clinical users. Strong customer service skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to user queries and support tickets relating to clinical systems
  • Support the configuration and maintenance of diagnostic and pharmacy applications
  • Ensure users can work effectively with supported digital systems
  • Assist with collecting and reporting performance data
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of supported systems and share this within the digital team
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior team members

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • Degree, NVQ Level 4, or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • English and Maths qualifications
  • Experience providing user support
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word

Desirable Criteria

  • IT or Digital qualification
  • Experience working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of clinical or healthcare information systems
  • Experience in application configuration and system management
