Overview
Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant to join the Pre-Packing Department at King’s Mill Hospital. This role supports safe and efficient patient care by preparing accurately labelled medicines for hospital wards, clinics, and external NHS partners.
Note: This is not a dispensary role. The position focuses on preparing large, bespoke batches of over-labelled medicines.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and check medicine orders to ensure timely supply
- Accurately label and pack large batches of medicines
- Put stock away and maintain well-organised storage areas
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks to support a safe working environment
- Contribute to smooth departmental operations through reliable, high-quality work
