Role Overview

KORE IT is seeking a Software Engineer (Software Development Engineer in Test – SDET) with strong automation and development skills to work on high-profile projects using modern technologies. The role involves contributing across the full software development lifecycle while working closely with product engineers and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver large-scale testing solutions.
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks.
Plan and implement testing strategies based on application architecture.
Automate microservices and RESTful API endpoints.
Perform UI testing using modern web technologies.
Work collaboratively within Agile, TDD, and BDD environments.
Support CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.


Required Skills and Experience

Experience in test design and automation.
Test automation using JavaScript and TypeScript.
Strong Java (J2EE) development experience.
Knowledge of Spring MVC, Struts, Hibernate, and Maven.
Experience with JIRA, Git, GitLab, and Jenkins.
Experience using Apache Tomcat.
UI testing knowledge including HTML and CSS.
Strong experience automating RESTful APIs and microservices.
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Understanding of testing models including Agile, Waterfall, and V-Model.
SQL and NoSQL database knowledge (preferred).


Desirable Skills

Big Data integration experience using Hive.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
