Salary and Benefits
- Salary: £30,000 per annum FTE (£18,000 pro rata)

- Remote working: Home-based with occasional UK travel

Role Purpose
This is a new role within the Policy, Research and Consultancy team. You will strengthen Re-engage’s evidence base by leading on data collection, analysis, interpretation, and communication to support policy development, research outputs, impact measurement, and consultancy projects.
You will bring curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset, with a strong interest in AI-enabled analytics and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Insight
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyse datasets using traditional and AI-enabled tools
- Generate clear, compelling insights using machine learning and predictive analytics
- Produce reports, dashboards, visualisations, and insight summaries using BI platforms
- Contribute to monitoring, evaluation and learning frameworks
- Support fundraising reporting and bid-writing
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for deeper analysis
Policy and Research Support
- Provide analytical inputs for policy development, including modelling and forecasting
- Support research projects through statistical and machine-learning analysis
- Produce data visualisations and analytical commentary for publications and briefings
- Support the administration and coordination of impact and research volunteers
Impact and Consultancy Support
- Analyse outcomes data and produce insight-led impact reports
- Support consultancy projects with data-driven insights and system mapping
- Develop analytical tools, templates, and automated workflows
- Support the design, delivery, and analysis of the annual Re-engage survey
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
- Support PR&C administration, including data entry and mailbox management
- Work collaboratively across the organisation to strengthen data use
- Improve analytical processes, workflows, and visualisation methods
- Explore and apply emerging AI technologies responsibly
- Demonstrate commitment to Re-engage values, policies, and mission
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Strong experience in data analysis within policy, research, or consultancy
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar analytical tools
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Experience in data cleaning, validation, and management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Experience working with large or administrative datasets
- Interest in loneliness, social isolation, and issues affecting older people
- Suitable home-working setup with reliable broadband
Desirable
- 3+ years’ experience in impact measurement or evaluation
- Knowledge of social research methods and statistics
- Familiarity with data governance, ethics, and responsible AI use
- Degree in a relevant field
- Experience working in a charity or grant-funded environment
