What You’ll Do at Synthesia
- Work end-to-end on our new Agentic AI Agents and manage the safe release of features to our customer base, enabling two-way communication with conversational AI technology.
- Solve challenges combining UX design, infrastructure, and machine learning. Contribute across infrastructure code, prompt engineering, and working directly with LLMs.
- Take sole ownership of long-term projects, breaking problems into small, deliverable steps.
- Collaborate directly with product managers to ideate and solve commercial problems, shaping the direction of the product.
- Evaluate your work using our data pipeline and frameworks, understanding the impact on commercial objectives and pivoting when necessary.
- Plan for the long-term growth of the team, ensuring engineering capabilities remain ahead of future challenges.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 7 years of experience as a software engineer, including 3+ years at a senior/lead level.
- Experience in a high-performing engineering team operating at scale, from either a scale-up or established organization.
- Ability to work across the stack, with deep knowledge of server-side development, machine learning, and backend systems. Frontend experience is a plus.
- Relevant experience building enterprise-grade SaaS products delivering AI-powered video generation (billing systems, experimentation platforms, video delivery systems, online editors, real-time collaboration, etc.).
- Strong alignment with commercial success.
- Previous leadership experience of smaller teams is a plus.
