About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Night Nurse to join our team at The Heights Care Home in High Wycombe. This relief role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people.
You may be the only nurse on shift at times and will be responsible for leading and managing the care team, ensuring high standards of nursing and personal care. You will provide clinical leadership, guidance, and work collaboratively with residents, families, carers, GPs, hospitals, and external agencies.

About You
You must be a qualified:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) or
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
You must be currently registered with the NMC, have post-registration experience, demonstrate ongoing professional development, and be comfortable working autonomously.
Experience or willingness to train in the following areas is required:
- Medication administration
- Catheterisation
- End-of-life care
- Verification of death
- Syringe drivers
- Gastrostomy care
- Venepuncture
- Diabetic awareness
- Tissue viability
- Epilepsy awareness
- Management of deterioration, including sepsis awareness
