Overview
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Full-Time Support Workers to join our team in Nuneaton.
This role is vital in delivering safe, person-centred care, supporting individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives. Applications are welcome from both experienced care workers and those new to care, as full training and induction will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support in line with individual support plans, cultural needs, and wishes
- Support individuals with managing their homes and maintaining tenancies
- Assist with personal care when required (including bathing and toileting)
- Encourage choice, independence, and decision-making in line with the Mental Capacity Act
- Support participation in daily living, social, leisure, and work activities
- Assist with health needs, including medication administration and medical appointments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Support individuals with finances where necessary, in line with company policy
- Promote health, safety, and wellbeing
- Work positively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities
- Flexibility to work shifts across all days of the week
- Willingness to work full-time
- Experience in care settings (Care Certificate, medication administration, care home experience – desirable)
- Must be able to work on-site in Nuneaton (CV10 7LN)
