Team Summary
The Marketing Data Operations Team manages and maintains the infrastructure that powers Zoom’s enterprise marketing database. This includes processes for collecting, ingesting, processing, storing, analyzing, and distributing marketing data efficiently across the organization.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Marketing Data Operations Lead, the Marketing Data Operations Analyst plays a key role in driving effective marketing campaigns through audience segmentation, database management, and data quality optimization. The role collaborates closely with regional marketing teams to align data strategies with business objectives while ensuring database integrity and compliance.
Work Schedule
This role is based in the United States. Working hours must align with US, Canadian, and LATAM markets to support global operations.
Core Responsibilities
Apply best practices to maintain high data quality for accurate audience segmentation and reporting.
Continuously improve database quality to maximize marketable audiences and utilization.
Design and develop advanced segmentation models for targeted campaigns.
Gather marketing requirements and build effective audience lists.
Collaborate with marketing teams to define audience criteria aligned with regional priorities.
Test and optimize new audience segments to improve engagement.
Provide training sessions to improve marketer understanding of the marketing database.
Ensure compliance with privacy laws such as GDPR and internal opt-in requirements.
Collaborate with Data Operations, Marketing Ops, IT, and Data teams.
Support processing and accurate classification of incoming lead data.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with large-scale B2B or B2C marketing databases.
Strong knowledge of CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, data warehouses, and BI tools.
Advanced data analysis skills with strong proficiency in SQL or equivalent.
High attention to detail with a strong analytical mindset.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Salary Range
Minimum salary: $76,800 per year
Maximum salary: $186,200 per year
Compensation may include base salary, bonus, and equity, and varies based on experience, qualifications, and location.
