Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Hotel Services Assistant to join its Support Services team at the Derwent Unit. The role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality cleaning service across wards and communal areas
- Damp mopping, buffing, and vacuuming floors using cleaning machinery
- Cleaning furniture, fittings, windows, wall tiles, and sanitary areas
- High dusting of radiators, pipes, ledges, and fixtures
- Replenishing disposable items such as soap, paper towels, and waste bags
- Emptying and cleaning refuse bins and disposal areas
- Cleaning lockers, beds, and mattresses when vacated
- Preparing dining areas and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Reporting faults, breakages, or pest issues
- Completing relevant paperwork and supporting the ward team
Person Specification
Essential
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety
- Good communication skills
Desirable
- Previous cleaning or domestic services experience
