The Role
SchemeServe is looking for a talented Product Designer (UX/UI) to work on our insurance software. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy and hands-on design execution.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Product Design, Product Managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to shape intuitive and impactful solutions from concept through to launch. You’ll balance high-level product thinking with detailed design craft—helping define what we build and designing how it looks, feels, and works.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out discovery research and synthesize insights to define project requirements and scope
- Translate complex insurance workflows into simple, elegant user experiences
- Own the end-to-end design process including research, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure accurate and consistent implementation
- Champion user needs across the product lifecycle using data and research
- Contribute to and evolve the design system for scalability and efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Must be resident in the United Kingdom
- 3+ years’ experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role
- High proficiency in Figma
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, UX flows, and visual design
- Experience with SaaS or enterprise products (insurance or fintech is a bonus)
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Comfortable switching between strategic thinking and pixel-level detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
