Overview
Cedarstone Global is seeking a junior-level Data Analyst Intern to join its growing analytics team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with numbers, identifying patterns, and building basic reports using Excel or Power BI.
No advanced modelling or prior finance experience required — just curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Clean, sort, and structure raw trading data from brokers and internal systems
- Analyse client activity patterns, including trade frequency, deposits, withdrawals, and volume behaviour
- Support weekly KPI reporting (ROI, drawdown, lot size, churn)
- Assist in building dashboards and performance trackers using Excel or Power BI
- Work with senior analysts to identify trends and business insights
- Maintain internal logs and support data validation checks
Ideal Candidate
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
- Proficient in Excel (formulas, filters, sorting, basic charts)
- Willingness to learn Power BI, SQL, or Google Sheets
- Good written communication skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently
- Interest in finance or trading data is an advantage (not required)
