Harris Computer is seeking a proactive and visionary AI Specialist to lead the adoption and integration of AI solutions across its international business units. This is a remote role open to candidates based anywhere in Europe, offering the opportunity to shape AI strategy within a global, multi-industry organization.
About the Role
As an AI Specialist, you will work closely with business and technical teams across diverse geographies to identify impactful AI opportunities, guide implementation, and promote responsible AI practices. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical contribution, including early-stage pilots and proof-of-concepts.
Responsibilities
- Identify high-impact AI use cases aligned with business goals and customer needs
- Support cross-functional teams in implementing AI solutions
- Contribute hands-on to proof-of-concepts and early-stage AI initiatives
- Advise on AI pilots to demonstrate value and encourage adoption
- Educate teams on AI capabilities, limitations, and ethical considerations
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and best-practice sharing
- Champion responsible AI principles (fairness, transparency, privacy, accountability)
- Act as a bridge between business and technical stakeholders
- Track emerging AI trends, architectures, and integration standards (e.g. MCP, A2A)
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience influencing initiatives across business, product, or technical teams
- Strong understanding of AI fundamentals, including LLMs, ML workflows, and prompt engineering
- Familiarity with AI platforms such as Azure AI, OpenAI, Google AI Studio, Anthropic, or Hugging Face
- Ability to balance strategic enablement with hands-on technical work
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in matrixed or decentralized organizations
- Awareness of data governance, AI ethics, and regulatory considerations

- Hands-on experience building AI proofs-of-concept or using AI APIs
