Location: Bothwell, Scotland
Salary: £42,000 – £51,000 (Employer provided)
Contract: Permanent | Full-time (37 hours per week)
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

About the Role

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Facilitation and Support Analyst to deliver a proactive IM&T service to new and existing users of healthcare systems across the organisation.

The role supports a wide range of healthcare services, including third-party contractors operating within NHS Lanarkshire such as GP Practices, Dental Practices, Opticians, Pharmacies, Police Custody Services, and State Hospitals. The objective is to help services gain maximum clinical and administrative benefit from eHealth systems while supporting patient care.

 Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive IM&T support for eHealth systems across NHS Lanarkshire
  • Support the development and improvement of existing and new healthcare systems
  • Analyse service training needs and translate findings into structured training plans
  • Liaise with IT trainers to manage and deliver training where required
  • Deliver ad hoc instruction on supported eHealth systems
  • Offer general advice and support to system users
  • Diagnose system issues and propose appropriate solutions
  • Escalate system problems to line managers, application management teams, suppliers, and NHS stakeholders
  • Support compliance with Data Protection, IT Security, Health & Safety, and organisational policies

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree-level education, appropriate nursing qualification, or equivalent experience
  • Substantial experience working in a clinical or healthcare service environment
  • Strong understanding of healthcare processes and procedures
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex reports
  • Experience or accredited training in at least one bespoke (preferably clinical) system
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High level of organisation and time management
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Patient, methodical, and detail-oriented approach
  • Full UK / EU / EEA driving licence
