About the Role
Capgemini is seeking an experienced Financial Crime / FIU Business Analyst to support the design, enhancement, and optimisation of FIU processes, AML/CTF investigations, and case management technology platforms.
You will collaborate with compliance, risk, operations, product, and technology teams to ensure regulatory alignment and operational effectiveness across AML/KYC/SAR processes.
This is a hybrid role combining office, client site, and home working (not fully remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements (BRD/FRD/Use Cases)
- Translate regulatory updates (FATF, FCA/JMLSG, EU AMLDs) into actionable process and control requirements
- Map current-state FIU processes and design target-state workflows
- Define AML investigation data requirements (KYC/CDD/EDD, screening, TM alerts)
- Establish KPIs, quality controls, and performance indicators
- Support enhancements in Transaction Monitoring and case management platforms (Actimize, Mantas, SAS, NICE, Pega, NetReveal)
- Define integration requirements for screening tools and data warehouses
- Plan and manage UAT, test scenarios, and defect tracking
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and stakeholder workshops
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong AML/CTF and FIU investigations expertise
- Regulatory knowledge (FATF, FCA/JMLSG, EU AMLDs 4th/5th/6th)
- Experience with Transaction Monitoring and Case Management systems
- Strong Business Analysis fundamentals (BPMN, user stories, UAT, traceability)
- SQL and data analysis knowledge
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
