Trainee Mandate Monitoring Analyst – London, Hybrid
Salary: £36K – £55K (Glassdoor Est.)

Join Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) as a Mandate Monitoring Analyst and support our Front Office in monitoring client and regulatory rules across RLAM portfolios. This role offers exposure to top fund managers and the chance to build a strong career foundation with opportunities to study IMC or CFA within your first year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre- and Post-Trade monitoring of RLAM portfolios via Aladdin; investigate potential breaches
- Regulatory disclosures for takeovers (FCA, Takeover Panel) and large shareholdings (SEC)
- Interpret, code, and test applicable rules using industry best practices
- Support fund launch processes across multiple teams
- Collaborate with Trustees & Depositories to ensure breaches are reported, classified, and investigated
About You:
- Degree in Maths, Finance, or similar
- Experience in Investment Management desirable, but not essential
- Familiarity with thinkFolio, Aladdin, Charles River, or other OMS is a plus
- Historical coding experience or interest
- Highly numerate with strong problem-solving skills
- Inquisitive, keen, and a good communicator
- Willingness to study IMC levels 1 & 2
