About the Role
The Communications and Network Engagement Intern will support CIVICUS’ global engagement efforts across multiple digital platforms.
This role blends:
- Creative digital content development
- Community and network engagement
- Communications analysis
- Relationship building with global civic actors
You will help strengthen CIVICUS’ Narratives Network and Membership engagement, create compelling digital content, and collaborate with communicators across sectors to promote civic action.
Key Responsibilities
- Support engagement across LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Develop creative and targeted digital content
- Assist with social media analytics and reporting
- Engage with global civil society communicators
- Contribute to campaigns promoting civic action and social change
Key Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Communications, Marketing, Social Media, Creative Content, or related field
- Strong commitment to civil society and positive social change
- Excellent English language skills
- Proficiency in a major Global South language (advantageous)
- Experience creating and analysing social media content
- Strong interest in community and network engagement
