Summary
Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Performance and Information Analyst with strong SQL expertise to develop advanced reporting solutions and provide data-driven insights across the organisation.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working with SQL, databases, and data warehouses to produce reports and support data improvement initiatives. Experience with patient management systems such as RiO is advantageous.
You will work collaboratively with clinicians, managers, and staff to deliver high-quality analytics and help drive the rollout of the Trust’s Business Information System (BIS).

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement database schemas, SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and triggers
- Build automated reporting solutions using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Excel, and Power BI
- Analyse and interpret complex datasets from multiple IT platforms
- Manage external data submissions such as MHSDS and CSDS
- Provide analytical expertise to operational and clinical teams
- Support the improvement of data quality across the organisation
- Lead analytical projects and working groups
- Train clinicians and staff on data interpretation and BI tools
- Supervise and coordinate the work of junior analysts

Requirements
Education
- Master’s Degree or equivalent qualification
- Evidence of continuous professional development
Experience
- 3–5 years experience in data analysis and reporting
- Experience with external NHS data submissions such as MHSDS, CSDS, and NHSE
Technical Skills
- SQL Server
- SSRS, SSAS, SSIS
- Power BI
- Microsoft Office
