Care Assistant (Night Shift) – Whitecraigs Care Home, Glasgow
Renaissance Care is looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join the team as Care Assistants (Night Shift) at Whitecraigs Care Home in Glasgow. Care Assistants play an important role in supporting residents, encouraging meaningful engagement, and ensuring they live with dignity, purpose, and connection. Night shift staff are essential in delivering person-centred care, including 1:1 support and promoting residents’ wellbeing throughout the night.
This role offers 33.75 hours per week and a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality person-centred care to residents
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities
- Support residents during mealtimes to promote nutrition and hydration
- Encourage social interaction and meaningful engagement
- Promote residents’ independence and lifestyle choices
- Work collaboratively with the care team and other professionals
Requirements
- SVQ2 in Health and Social Care is beneficial but not essential
- Previous experience in the care sector is an advantage
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A caring and compassionate attitude
Full training will be provided for successful candidates.
Salary
£12.82 per hour
