Overview
Eclipse Trading is seeking a Front Office Python Developer to join its Rapid Application Development (RAD) Team. You will work closely with traders and quantitative analysts to design and deliver Python-based trading solutions, enabling real-time data access and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and expand Python-based application frameworks
- Collaborate with traders and quantitative analysts
- Develop and maintain trading applications
- Lead projects from design to deployment
- Train users and promote best development practices
- Provide Tier 3 production support when required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in Python development
- Strong experience building clean, production-grade applications
- Knowledge of testing, code reviews, and best practices
- Experience with asynchronous programming (e.g., asyncio) is a plus
- Background in trading systems is an advantage
- Front office or quantitative development experience preferred
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong English communication skills
