Location: Taunton, TA8
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (flexible)
Pay Rate: £16 per hour

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to patients and supporting healthcare professionals in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting healthcare professionals in delivering patient care and treatment plans
• Providing personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs, reporting any changes to the healthcare team
• Supporting patients with mobility and transportation needs
• Maintaining a clean and safe healthcare environment
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Adhering to all healthcare protocols, including infection control and patient privacy regulations

Qualifications:

• Certification or training as a Healthcare Assistant or in an Allied Health field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy and compassion for patients and their families
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Understanding of patient safety and infection control practices
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and assist patients when necessary
