Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This position involves providing support to individuals in care homes and home care environments. You will play a vital role in improving the lives of others through personal care, companionship, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Support daily routines and care plans.
- Monitor and document patients’ health, reporting changes.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Aid with mobility and drive patients when necessary.
- Ensure a clean, safe environment.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
Qualifications
- Experience in home care or a similar setting (preferred).
- Proficient IT and record-keeping skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of care plans and adherence.
- Valid UK driving licence (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and empathy skills.
