Position Details
- Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
- Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Location: Remote/Hybrid (Bolton BL2 2JU)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve logistical issues
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including customs paperwork
- Track and report shipment statuses to stakeholders
- Optimise routes and schedules to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Maintain accurate logistics records
- Assist in developing and implementing new logistics processes
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and internal policies
Experience
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or coordination roles
- Strong understanding of logistics principles and supply chain management
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently in a remote/hybrid setting
- Adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
