Job description
We’re expanding our Transport Analysis Team to support exciting projects across the region. This team provides critical evidence for shaping policy, strategy, and investment.
With investments underway — from smart ticketing and bus reform to rail and active travel schemes — and £710m secured through the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlements (CRSTS), now is the time to join us.
As Principal Transport Analyst, you’ll:
- Lead the development and communication of transport evidence.
- Guide data collection, dissemination, and strategy.
- Contribute to business cases and strategic transport interventions.
- Collaborate across teams while also taking initiative independently.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong technical knowledge (including DfT TAG guidance).
- Understands the strategic, place-based role of transport.
- Can develop and communicate compelling, data-driven insights.
- Thrives in a fast-moving environment and can adjust quickly.
- Has excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
