 Role

Join the Disabled Children’s Team, a specialist social work team supporting children and young people with disabilities (up to age 18). We provide assessments, advice, and bespoke support tailored to individual needs, working collaboratively with schools, health services, and families.

 Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload and carry out high-quality assessments
  • Undertake direct work with children and families
  • Make complex decisions and identify levels of risk
  • Use evidence-based tools to ensure safety and positive outcomes
  • Maintain strong professional relationships and communicate effectively

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Social Worker with registration with Social Work England
  • Significant experience in children’s services (experience in disability preferred)
  • Strong critical thinking, assessment, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with partner agencies
  • Excellent communication and planning abilities

Note: This role is not suitable for newly qualified social workers or those seeking an ASYE programme.
