Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year
Location: Remote (US-based applicants only – AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, KY, MD, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, SC, SD, TX, VA, WA, or WI)
Work Hours: Must be available during US Pacific or Mountain time business hours

Job Description

Blackthorn is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to join our fully remote and globally distributed team. In this role, you’ll apply your technical expertise and Salesforce knowledge to provide exceptional support experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer technical support
  • Manage and resolve support cases using Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Validate bugs and create Jira tickets for engineering
  • Assist in reporting documentation gaps and improvements
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success)
  • Recommend enhancements and identify new product opportunities
  • Prioritize and manage workload with accuracy and urgency
  • Meet or exceed customer support performance metrics

Requirements

  • Experience working with SaaS products (CRM or CX platforms preferred)
  • Salesforce Admin (201) Certification – required
  • Experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst – preferred
  • Strong technical aptitude and communication skills
  • Enjoys working directly with customers and solving real-world issues
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and coordination skills
  • Comfortable working in a remote-first environment and fast-paced team
