Hours: Part-time – 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday, flexible working considered)
Salary: £24,937 – £26,598 per annum (pro rata)

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Administration Team at Laureate House on the Andersen Ward, Mother & Baby Unit.

You will play a vital role in supporting patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth running of administrative tasks on the ward. This role also involves covering other wards within Laureate House and providing support to the Perinatal Outreach and Perinatal Community Teams when needed.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Act as the initial point of contact for the service, handling all enquiries professionally and sensitively.
  • Provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Engage in daily client and carer contact, both via telephone and face-to-face.
  • Support other wards and perinatal services during staff absences.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Experience dealing with a wide range of people in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to complete administrative tasks efficiently and meet set deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • GCSE Maths and English grade C or equivalent.

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Previous admin experience in a clinical environment.
  • Experience working as part of a team towards shared goals.
