Salary: £120,000 – £160,000 + 20% Bonus, Share Options, Pension, 25 Days Holiday, Private Medical
We are working with one of the largest and most successful trade-tech companies, partnering with major global FinTech brands. Following over a decade of success and industry awards, they are expanding their Tech, Data, and Delivery teams in 2025.
The company is seeking a Backend Architect to lead the security, efficiency, and scalability of their core systems from both product and infrastructure perspectives. This is a senior role with leadership responsibilities across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, selection, integration, and performance of various products
- Set and maintain high standards for code quality and documentation
- Collaborate effectively with global teams
- Contribute to the security, scalability, and efficiency of the company’s systems
Requirements
- 10+ years of backend development experience
- 5+ years in a similar architectural role
- Expertise in Python, Golang, or Java
- Strong knowledge of OOP Design, Multithreading, and SQL
- Additional skills in Kubernetes, PHP, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and DevOps
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Fluency in both Russian and English
FinTech background is advantageous but not essential. This role offers flexibility to work remotely or from the London office.
