About the Role
The Business Analyst is responsible for leading business analysis activities to drive rapid and effective design and delivery of solutions to priority business problems. As a catalyst for change, you will analyse complex business needs, collaborate with stakeholders to deeply understand the desired business outcomes, develop options, agree proposed solutions and support the detailed design, build, and implementation of the solutions into the business. You will mentor and coach other members of the team, developing requirements analysis, design, problem-solving and pragmatic process improvement capabilities across the team.
Responsibilities
Lead expert business analysis activities to drive real business value for the organisation
- Analyse complex business needs and collaborate with stakeholders to understand desired business outcomes.
- Partner with Business Product Owners, SMEs and delivery teams to define and prioritise initiatives and design innovative solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with business trends and domain knowledge to identify opportunities.
- Bring data-driven insights to help stakeholders reach informed decisions.
- Identify and assess risks associated with proposed solutions and develop mitigation strategies.
Drive continuous improvement of Business Analysis capabilities
- Develop analytical capabilities of teams through coaching and mentoring.
- Implement best practices to ensure high-quality standards.
Stakeholder engagement & Change Management
- Communicate complex requirements clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrate leadership and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
- Understand and advise on the impact of change within the organisation.
- Serve as a change expert, supporting transformation initiatives and articulating benefits.
Skills & Experience
Qualifications / Certifications (desirable)
- Business Analysis certification preferred.
- Product owner, project, or change management qualifications desirable but not essential.
